The Dias Quartet play popular Brazilian jazz, such as 'Girl from Ipanema', 'Mas Que Nada' and 'Brazil'. The band can also play regular jazz standards and upbeat funk numbers if requested. They are 4 piece comprising trumpet, guitar, bass and drums. Led by Brazilian trumpeter, Reginaldo Dias, they have been playing regularly round Scotland since early 2005 and have residencies at the Tyneside Tavern in Haddington, The Volunteer Arms in Dunbar and Henry's Cellar Bar in Edinburgh. The band have also proven popular at corporate events and weddings where venues have included the Prestonfield House Hotel and Dalhousie Castle.
